A featured chapter in Built to Endure: How Entrepreneurs Overcome Challenges, Stay Focused, and Build Lasting Success
In her powerful chapter, The Arena Was Never Optional, Heather shares a raw and redemptive journey through grief, grit, entrepreneurship, and faith. From the classroom to freight docks, loss to mentorship, she reflects on the messy, meaningful path of entrepreneurship and the beauty that can rise from broken places.
This chapter is part of Built to Endure, a collaborative book featuring stories from entrepreneurs who dared to keep going. With honesty and hope, Heather opens up about founding Hauteshot Logistics, launching Isla Mae Non-Profit, and turning pain into purpose.
This chapter is for every person who’s ever faced loss, betrayal, burnout, or uncertainty and chose to keep going anyway. It’s about faith in the unseen, the courage to build something new, and the beauty that can grow from broken ground.
" This wasn’t about ambition—it was about endurance. About grit. And a whole lot of faith. "
— Heather Johnson
